Dance Magazine Jul 2012 edition, by Tatsuro Ishii
What dominates this piece from beginning till end, is light. It unites the stage and the audience, and the scenes follow one another by its transition and many shades of brightness and darkness. The total design of the space turned into-box, using the full ability of the Theatre X’s stage mechanism and lighting, was a work that only Teshigawara could have accomplished.
In this box, the audience saw a dream of a hundred years brought by the “specters of the rose”, Teshigawara and his dancers. Teshigawara keeps pioneering even further into the unknown land.

Theatre X Criticism News May 2012, by Akiko Tachiki
With respect towards the autonomy of the body, Teshigawara (set design/direction/lighting design) speaks out to the sensitivity of the audience, about the meaning of emotion and drama brought from the unity of music and light. He questions what dance is, drama is, and connects the small universe called “stage”, to our real life.

“Organ-Breathing Physics” – what this title means, is something for each of the audience to think and feel. These bodies which stand in front of us with their condensed life as a dancer, and at the same time challenging towards a new expression, is an apparatus. They are the apparatus which evoke the imagination of the people who encounter their bodies.
